I recently purchased this book as a textbook for a college course I am currently taking. I began reading Chapter 1 and by page 14, the previous pages started to fall out of the book! It is almost like they have become unglued! This will be a nightmare in keeping the chapters organized, not to mention the constant maintenance to rebind the chapters. Since this textbook is required for the course, I may have to resort to having an outside source rebind the text at an additional cost! Several other students in this course are experiencing the same issues with this book, so this is not an isolated issue. The low rating of this book is not regarding the material content but the poor quality of production!!
The professor always wants to make a sale for their books. I got it here on . The book is for Pathology class.At the end of each chapter, there's only 10 multiple choice review questions; which is kind of tiny in comparison to what we see on tests. I've seen other student's pages fall out already. Yes, pages falling out seems to be a big problem. I guess I'm next; but I tend to keep my books in good condition.Long story short, this is a good book for Pathology for school purposes.
I love my books for my Radiology Classes versus renting or on-line editions. My books are used as I write notes, highlight important information for myself, underline instructors points, and underline (with a different color) what was on our tests, and those books are perfectly fine. I am almost finished with the Radiology Program and this textbook that is required for our Pathology class is the pits! I have opened this book a total of 3 times and the first few pages have fallen out! I don't believe that the printing company had anything to do with the binding of the book. For the cost of this book, one would believe that they would receive a quality product as well. Certainly not worth the money paid.
The pages started falling out of this book as soon as I got it. I expect more from an expensive textbook.
Brand new book & first few chapters came completely out within the first week. My instructor and other fellow classmates experienced the exact same thing. Brand new with horrible binding.
Very unhappy with my purchase. Bought the book and the first 2 chapters were missing from it. And pages continue to fall out.
The binding on this book is terrible within days of getting it I have whole chunks of the text falling out of the book
