I cannot put this impressive masterpiece down!! Every page is a work of art, the photos are a feast for the eyes and the words are a feast for the soul. As a lover of drag, it's exciting to see some of the well known personalities captured in a different light, as well as a slew of undiscovered creative talent, and to read something personal about their journey into the underground art form of drag. But even if you are unfamiliar with drag, you'll be drawn into the creative and humorous portraits of these nightlife creatures.
This book is soooo beautiful the through line of the book is why all these performers a lot of Ru-girls and a lot of regionally known queens...the pictures are breathtaking and the book is a classic coffee table book

I'm a huge fan of Magnus' work, so I went in expecting to be very pleased, but I wasn't expected to be so stunned by the sheer quality of it all. Some of the photos were iconic and had been seen hundreds of times, but others were brand new to me, and were truly works of art on the part of the queen and the photographer. I love the concept and the execution of this book, and I could not be happier.

Magnus Hastings has created A wonderful photographic anthropological study of the elusive creature know as the DRAG QUEEN in all her glory........... I've never seen a book so filled with artful images.
I love this because the photography is stunning, it is an incredibly large coffee table book with such high quality image, and everyone skims through it when they are at my house. My favorite thing is that the pictures are edge to edge in the book, and there is little to no writing in the book. a Great coffee table book!
For a drag book i was expecting the photos to be a little bit more over the top, but as a fan i love is and deeply recommend ! U can see not just the familiar faces from drag race, but also local queens from around the world
